amritsar talkies is a fairly new production house started with a vision to produce quality entertainment content for various mediums. with a team of a few experienced talents from the industry sharing a similar passion amritsar talkies was founded by arti puri (ceo). within a year of its operations, the company has produced 3 short films, ‘chotey haath badi soch’ which was one of the official selection at the giiffa (film festival) 2017 held in delhi. secondly made ‘the change’, which was the first short film based on demonetization of the Indian currency. and finally the last film ‘sochna bhi mat’ based on a few women’s answer to men for the heinous molestations and rapes done by them. amritsar talkies is presently busy with other similar projects yet never too busy to take up a new and challenging task.
